LIFESTYLE: Manchester Baby...I Have Arrived!

Manchester, England: The Beginning of a New Era
I landed in this city around 8am with high spirits. Despite the depressing weather and how tired I was, I walked through the airport with a huge smile on my face... I was literally cheesing like a little kid in the candy store.
Although I've been to England twice before (London), I'm pretty sure this will be a completely different experience for me because of two reasons:
1. Manchester is very different from London.
2. I came here alone and as an adult.
Traveling/going new places is something I truly enjoy and I am not really the type that's scared of change. However, moving to a new country does come with a bit of anxiety and my main concern is the adjustment phase. I am only here for half the year and I hope to get through the adjustment phase as quickly as possible. Wouldn't it suck if I were to start getting used to things within the last month or two then shortly after I'm on a plane back to the U.S.? :/ Yeah... I think so too. Hopefully the adjustment phase won't be too bad for me (fingers crossed). Other than that, I am fully ready to embark on this journey. My main goal is to push myself out of my comfort zone, meet new people and travel Europe. I really hope to make the most out of this experience. Looking forward to the next few months and all this country has in store for me.
More details coming soon!
